Honestly, I'm not even sure what to write here any more. I feel like these things are getting progressively more depressing to read. Sorry, but such is my life right now. Deal with it.
I had finally come to terms with the fact that I can't pay my rent any more and I need to move back in with my family. It was a hard decision, but if I make my rent payments, I can't really pay any other bills that I've, unfortuntely, acquired. I turned in a notice with my rent on May 1st.
My apartment just responded to me last night and stated that I cannot break my lease and that I would be on the hook for rent up until September 16th, as that it when my lease is up. That comes out to be a bit over $2300. So I'm in a world of hurt.
My unemployment is only $277 a week, this sounds like a decent amount and it would be if I didn't live in an overpriced apartment. My rent is $659 a month (they dont know about the dog, thank God) that does not include utilities. My car is roughly $350 a month, then I have insurance and other credit cards I need to pay off. Needless to say, I've been struggling these past 4 months with no real income. Last month I paid my car payment and rent and that was it. I can't continue to do that, or my credit is going to take a hit and I had near perfect credit before all of this began. I really don't know what to do. I could continue to just pay rent and car payment with the help of family possibly, but the collectors are already crazy calling me. Either way I just feel screwed.
I'm not the type of person to shirk responsibility and I usually face things head on. This is such a mess right now. I dont want to get out of bed, I dont have an appetite, I don't want to talk to anyone, I havent even been to the grocery store in close to a month. I took a hot shower to try and burn off all the badness that I'm feeling, but that didn't work, it just left my skin scalded.
I may have to start selling off my possessions to make these payments. Anyone need a couch, coffee tables, dining room table and chairs, patio set, or TV?
Ugh this is awful.
