Slow Dancing

The holidays have passed us and the new year is upon us. Yes. It's true, already. Seems like just a few days ago 2009 was turning and I was thinking, "Oh no. What's this one going to have in store for me?" Well, I came to find out it offered me a lot of tears. Through tears is when we see the growth and lessons that we may have missed along the way. I think I've complained a lot this year, and I regret that. I know that living on this world is full of tests, and we're not supposed to like it or have an easy time at it. If it were to be easy then everyone would do it right? So for that, Universe, I apologize. I'd rather thank you for everything this year. So thanks. I was in desperate need of an ass kicking and I got one, so thanks for keepin' it real yo.

I think 2010 will be a new chapter in my life...well, no duh.... but I think it will be in need of a new preface and author's foreward. I'm in the process of writing it for you. Hopefully it will be done by 12/31 so you can read it on 1/1/2010. Keep your eyes peeled.

Also, can we make it a rule not to say things like, "O ten" (like we've been saying '09) ? It just doesn't sound right... doesn't roll off the tongue. Let's keep it professional, "2010" or just "this year".

Okay, so thanks You for teaching me and helping me rebuild my life in 2009. Let's stay friends forever. I will try not to complain these last few days, I'm thankful for everything You've given me.
